Section description

This short stage is basically the last one of Hungary’s Szent Jakab út. The yellow trail takes you across the border and through the villages of Čunovo and Rusovce amid attractive riparian woodland. Then the EV6 bike path leads you along a river canal up to downtown Bratislava about 12 km away.

The ruins of the chapel of St James near the Old Market Square in the historic city centre marks the point at which Slovakia’s Svätojakubská cesta and Hungary’s Szent Jakab út meet.

This short stage is basically the last one of Hungary’s Szent Jakab út. Leave Rajka following the yellow mark that goes northwards around St. Martin’s church towards the Danube.
